Sonyo Compressor has launched its R454C DC inverter scroll compressor in Europe for air-to-water (ATW) heat pump applications. This release follows the positive market response to Sonyo’s R290 DC inverter scroll compressors in the European ATW heat pump sector. The new R454C series offers a displacement range from 67 cc to 120 cc, with a larger 160 cc model currently in development.

Featuring an expanded operating range enabled by patented EVI (Enhanced Vapor Injection) technology, the R454C compressor maintains high efficiency even under low ambient temperature conditions. With over 15 years of design experience in DC inverter compressors, Sonyo has optimized the model for low noise and minimal vibration. These features align closely with the performance and sustainability requirements of the European market.
